Our Pangloss Cellars Frosé transforms summer entertaining into an elegant affair. While our signature Rosé is beautiful on its own, sometimes the heat calls for something more adventurous — a delightful departure from the traditional glass. This refreshing frozen cocktail combines the crisp, bright notes of our premium Rosé with the natural sweetness of peak-season fruit, creating a sophisticated yet playful indulgence that offers the perfect balance of elegance and whimsy. The overnight freezing technique ensures a perfectly smooth, slushy texture that becomes a luxurious, lightly sweetened escape on those sweltering summer days when only something truly special will do.

Ingredients:

Base Recipe (Serves 4-6):

  • 1 bottle (750ml) Pangloss Cellars Rosé, chilled
  • 6 oz premium vodka
  • 2 cups ultra-ripe strawberries
  • 2½ cups fresh watermelon, cubed
  • Extra frozen watermelon cubes (if needed for consistency)

Single Serving Proportions:

  • 5 oz Pangloss Cellars Rosé
  • 1 oz vodka
  • ⅓ cup frozen strawberries
  • ⅓ cup + 1 tbsp frozen watermelon cubes

Large Batch (Serves 12-15):

  • 3 bottles (2.25L) Pangloss Cellars Rosé, chilled
  • 18 oz premium vodka
  • 6 cups ultra-ripe strawberries
  • 7½ cups fresh watermelon, cubed

Instructions:

Day Before:
  1. Prepare the fruit: Wash strawberries thoroughly and remove stems. Slice strawberries into halves or quarters depending on size.
  2. Cube the watermelon: Remove rind and seeds, then cut into 1-inch cubes.
  3. Freeze overnight: Place prepared strawberries and watermelon cubes on separate baking sheets lined with parchment paper. Freeze for at least 8 hours or overnight until completely solid.
Day Of Serving:
  1. Blend: Add frozen strawberries, frozen watermelon cubes, chilled Pangloss Cellars Rosé, and vodka to a high-powered blender.
  2. Achieve perfect consistency: Blend on high speed until smooth and slushy. If mixture is too thick, add a splash more rosé. If too thin, add more frozen watermelon cubes and blend again.
  3. Serve immediately: Pour into chilled wine glasses or coupe glasses. Garnish with fresh strawberry slices and a sprig of mint if desired.
