2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Moon Mountain District

Wine Notes Print tech sheet

We’ve been amazed at how beautifully the 2018 vintage captures the essence of Moon Mountain District winemaking. This Cabernet Sauvignon boasts everything we love about this secluded appellation: deep fruit flavors, concentration and just the right balance of acidity and tannin. Some of the vineyards dotting the steep slopes of Moon Mountain District date back to the 1880s, and in that time they have developed a reputation for depth and complexity. This bottling is an uncompromising example of the richness of Moon Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon, and a reference point for what this region has come to be known for.

What Our Team Is Saying:

"Dark Cherry and cocoa powder notes make me want to enjoy this beautiful and dry Cabernet with a warm and gooey chocolate lava cake! I have a sweet tooth, so any dessert is my first go-to! A T-bone steak with buttery veggies is another route for those who love to pair Cabs with a juicy cut of beef!"
