2019 Optimism Moon Mountain District
Wine Notes Print tech sheet
Crafted with Optimist Society Members in mind, our flagship wine captures the eternal optimism that is at the heart of everything we do at Pangloss Cellars. Each year, Winemaker Erich Bradley meticulously selects his favorite barrels of Bordeaux varieties to compose a blend that represents the best of the vintage. In 2019, Merlot from the Moon Mountain District serves as the backbone to this structured blend, providing a rusticity that is emblematic of the rugged terrain from which it grows. With Cabernet Sauvignon contributing a fragrant profile and lush finesse, 2019 Optimism displays a harmonious balance which promises to gain complexity for many years to come.
