2019 Syrah Sonoma Valley

Wine Notes Print tech sheet

SOLD OUT

Decadence defines this rich, mouthfilling selection. Our favorite Syrahs are savory and seductive, and this wine celebrates the hedonistic potential of an ancient and revered variety. Through his relationship with an acclaimed local grower, winemaker Erich Bradley accessed coveted Sonoma vineyards that offer the concentration, fine-grained tannins and structure that we were looking for. Inky and dark, this bottling echoes the celebrated Syrahs of our favorites from the Northern Rhône Valley.

Suggestions

  • Smoked Gouda, Roquefort
  • Lamb gyros, smoked pork ribs, elk sausage
  • Grilled asparagus, sautéed mushrooms

What our team is saying:

"I love pairing Rhone varietals with grilled foods. With the depth and complexity we find in this Syrah, brisket is my #1 choice. Although, a stinky blue cheese burger topped with bacon and a little BBQ sauce wouldn’t go amiss."
