2014 Optimism

This is our first Optimism with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc combined into a Bordeaux-style blend, and we’re proud to say it reflects the refinement and complexity of the legendary French wines that inspired it. The 2014 vintage created Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon with a beautiful framework of bold fruit-forward flavors and smooth tannins. Cabernet Franc proved an ideal partner, balancing the wine with an earthy undertone. It was the perfect moment to expand our vision for Pangloss’ flagship wine, as it captures the eternal optimism that is at the heart of everything we do.
