Optimism reflects our commitment to the refinement and complexity of the legendary Bordeaux wines that serve as its inspiration. It is the culmination of our effort to create an exceptional blend from our favorite barrels of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Malbec. The 2015 vintage offered the perfect moment to expand our vision for Pangloss’ flagship wine, as growing conditions nurtured our Cabernet Sauvignon into a beautiful framework of bold fruit-forward flavors and smooth tannins. Cabernet Franc proved an ideal partner, balancing the wine with an earthy undertone. Merlot and Malbec offered final flourishes of finesse and power. Crafted exclusively for Optimist Society Members, this wine captures the eternal optimism that is at the heart of everything we do at Pangloss Cellars.
