Prosciutto Wrapped Fig Bite


Ingredients:

  • 9 large figs, sliced in half
  • 9 slices prosciutto, sliced in half lengthwise
  • ⅓ cup + 1 tablespoon goat cheese (herb goat cheese recommended)

For serving:

  • Honey
  • Balsamic glaze
  • Black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Set oven to 375°F.
  2. Halve your figs and create a small well in each center using a melon baller or spoon.
  3. Dollop each fig with goat cheese, about a teaspoon per half.
  4. Wrap snugly with prosciutto, ensuring the cheese is secure.
  5. Arrange cut-side down on a non-stick sheet and bake 15-18 minutes until the prosciutto crisps and figs soften.
  6. Rest briefly before plating.
  7. Finish by drizzling with honey and balsamic glaze, and season with fresh cracked pepper to taste.
